Your Responsibilities
We’re seeking a Junior Sales Development Representative who thrives on connecting with prospects, uncovering business needs, and creating qualified sales opportunities. This role is responsible for lead generation, managing inbound demo inquiries, and partnering closely with sales and marketing to build a strong pipeline for the DocuWare team. You’ll play a key role in guiding prospects through the early stages of the buyer journey while maintaining accurate CRM data and delivering a high-quality customer experience.
This is a growth-focused role with hands-on training and mentorship, offering the opportunity to develop product expertise, participate in Account Executive and Account Management meetings, and progress into demoing and selling DocuWare solutions directly.
This is a weekly hybrid role based out of our Beacon, NY office.
Responsibilities:
- Execute outbound calling campaigns to targeted prospects to generate qualified leads and set appointments/demos for the DocuWare sales team.
- Field inbound inquiries (over phone and email) for product demo requests.
- Qualify lead integrity and interest, schedule meetings with prospects and appropriate sales channels.
- Update HubSpot and CRM - maintain clean, accurate records according to DocuWare guidelines.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to help improve lead volume and quality.
- Understand prospects needs through SPIN method to qualify leads for Account Executives.
- Grow into selling DocuWare Systems through training and joining AE/AM Meetings.
- Demo and sell DocuWare as employee progress’s through SDR role, prior to moving to AE.
- Other duties as required.
What you need to succeed
- Ability to travel one week a year to our DocuWorld event (locations vary).
- Four-year college degree or equivalent.
- 1-2 years successful sales experience.
- Consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn, grow professionally, and take on increasing responsibility within the sales organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer skills with ability to competently demonstrate software functionality.
- Ability to analyze business processes and to find individual solutions.
What we can offer
- $60,000 to $65,000 base plus commission (based on experience), no cap on compensation however OTE is expected range of $80,000 to $90,000.
